Dice War

Overview: A Revelry original, great if you only have dice and need quick drinking. Like War, two players roll and the higher number wins, winner keeps going and racking up drinks to give out. We may not be the most creative drinkers, but damn we're efficient.

No. of Players: 4+

Supplies:

  • 2 dice

Setup:

  • Players gather around a round table and 2 players each start with a die.

How to Play:

  1. Both players roll their die. Whoever rolls the higher number wins.

  2. The loser passes their die to the next player, while the winner keeps rolling until they lose.

  3. The goal is to throw the die so that it either lands in one”.

  4. For every consecutive win after a player gains control of the board, that player earns a drink point.

  5. Once the player in control of the board finally loses, they hand out the total number of drink points they have accumulated during their reign to the other players as they choose (can be all to one player or split up amongst many players).

Rules:

  • If there is a tie, the drink points in the imaginary pot are doubled and become up for grabs. The two players then roll again. Whoever wins takes control of the board, and also steals or maintains all the drink points. If you had control of the board and lose during a tie, you do not get to hand out any drinks since the other player stole your drink points.

  • If there are multiple ties in a row, drink points continue to double until someone wins and steals the points.
